Ahh, what is there to tell about me? Well my name is Kim Jackson. I’m an endless tinkerer and I like to document things. In fact this blog basically documents tech problems I come across during my workday and my solutions to them. I also enjoy building things whether the things in question are custom furniture, drawings, web designs, or software.

I have a degree in computer science and a minor in math but found these in and of themselves to be quite unfulfilling. So I struck out on my own in 2005 which was partially motivated by Hurricane Katrina making landfall in my hometown of Waveland, MS!

I wandered around aimlessly for a year or so before dabbling in everything from building and designing houses, video editing, to software design and consulting. Currently I run several websites and enjoy working from home.
