Coding Goals

I’ve never had a coding blog so I don’t know exactly what format it is going to take. Although, after setting up my blog, I have settled on PHP being the first language that I delve into head first. I’ve decided to use the book, Beginning PHP and MySQL 5: From Novice to Professional. I’m thinking maybe I’ll do the blog based on the chapters I complete in the book or something to that effect. After PHP, I definitely want to tackle Java. I initially learned how to program in C++, but fell in love with Java as a college freshman. But, I haven’t used Java since college. I’m a real fan of the book, Thinking In Java, so I think I am going to be using that one to reacquaint myself with the Java language. I’ve got to get the PHP book so I guess the real meat of the blog with start Monday.
